I am very disappointed with that place where they are gonna charge you 1€ extra because we are not dutch!! Even if we where a big group and we paid a lot of money for very poor drinks IN PLASTIC CUPS!!!!
The waiters are unpolite and try to make profit out of the fact that it’s new years (while it’s my 22nd birthday and we specified that) charging us more when the service offered is the same as the other days of the year.
not suggested especially for special occasions, you might be charged more for no reason.

A special place, friendly service, very delicious food, and the view from their terrace is beautiful. I came to drink wine and I was tempted by the menu. I had a dinner with a very delicious flavour. The dish was chicken fillet. Good luck everyone.

Founded in 1940 and just a few weeks before the 80th anniversary in April 2020 the Club met it’s Waterloo during the first lockdown of the SARS CoV2 pandemic.

Now that I have a comparison with other Amsterdam bars and restaurants I can say that the food there is just average everywhere. I had a schnitzel with chips and it was good, we also ordered some salad and chicken with chips and they were all good. Nothing amazing but still. The staff were nice and friendly, they asked if we need anything else etc. Prices were regular or cheaper than any other restaurants around us.
Horrible customer service, saying please and thank you doesn’t mean you’re being polite. Asking me to pay immediately and then try to get me to order again? Start off with having some snacks because I’m not eating peanuts.
Never coming here again and recommend you don’t come at all.
The man who seems to be the manager, knows nothing about customer service, manners or to even be a decent human. The food was mediocre on top of it. He was carrying on and behaving like a crazy person which resulted in other staff apologizing for his behavior.
